Curried Turkey Meatballs

Contributed by Dave Stringfellow
Serves 2

1 egg
1 Onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Tikka Masala Paste
300 mililiters Pasata
450 grams Turkey Mince

Dice the onion as fine as you can make it, and take 1/4 of it and mix in to the the Mince with the onion & Garlic powder and egg, squezing the mixture to a "paste". Form this in to meatballs and fry in a frying pan till brown. Once all sides are nicly coloured, place them on an oven tray and put them in to preheated 160c Oven for 20 mins.

While this is cooking, brown the rest of the onion in a pan, once it starts to caramelize add the Masala Paste and mix in to the onions. Once this covers all the onions add the pasata add 50ml of water and salt and pepper.

Leave this thicken on a low heat while the meatballs finish cooking, once done, add the meatballs to the curry mix and stir, ensuring all Meatballs are covered with the sauce.

Serve with any side you like, I have roasted Swede on the picture.
